Company is in the business of developing cancer hospitals (free-standing or within existing multi-speciality hospitals) in tier 2 and tier 3 cities in Northern India.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Chief Executive Officer to supervise and control all strategic and business aspects of the company. You will be the first in command in the company and responsible for giving the proper strategic direction as well as creating a vision for success.

To thrive as a CEO, you must be a prudent manager and an inspiring leader. The ideal candidate will have a business mindset and will be able to see the “big picture” in a variety of settings. They will take actions to enhance the Company’s cash flow while keeping the human factor in perspective.

The CEO will be committed to providing inspiring and effective leadership while administering, directing, and coordinating all activities of the company toward the fulfilment of the company’s values, mission, strategy, and the achievement of its annual goals and objectives.

The goal is to drive the company’s development and guide it towards long-term success.

Essential Responsibilities:
  1. CEO is responsible for mapping and acquisitions of existing hospitals in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
  2. Create the networking and develop multiple referral sources to increase the patient volume of the Hospitals.
  3. The CEO oversees the management and development of the infrastructure and facility expansion activities to be able to provide comprehensive cancer and other multi-speciality services.
  4. Ensures disaster and emergency preparedness activities are appropriately planned, exercised, and documented.
  5. CEO leads the development, selection, and training of Operational team. CEO will work closely with Human Resource regarding hiring practices, payroll, and benefit disbursement. He ensures effective management of the of the Hospital through HR policies and procedures.
  6. CEO will be responsible for the P&L of the centre. He needs to plan the yearly budget for Board approval and ensures prudent management of the centre’s resources within those budget guidelines. The CEO oversees the negotiation of professional, consultant and service contracts.
  7. Through exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, the CEO need to assure that the centre and its mission, programs, and essential services are consistently presented in a strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders.
  8. The CEO need to ensure compliance with the regulations of governing centre and the rules of accrediting bodies by continually monitoring the organization’s service delivery and initiating changes as required.
  9. CEO has overall responsibility for the design, marketing, promotion, delivery, risk management and quality of all centre’s healthcare programs and services provided to the patients. The CEO ensures that policies and practices effectively support sound and safe patient care, and that the delivery of healthcare services provides the highest level of a positive experience to the patient.
  10. The CEO stays current with general trade and industry conditions and their potential impact on the centre’s policies and operations and, in collaboration with the Board of Directors, develops the short-term and long-term strategic plan for the centre and its offered services.
Experience:
  • 20+ years of experience in healthcare management/ leadership position.
  • Prior CEO or COO of a large hospital chain is preferred.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision

  • Ability to handle detailed, complex concepts and problems and to make rapid decisions regarding administrative issues.
  • Ability to develop smooth and constructive relationships with executive colleagues, and outside agencies, organizations, and individuals.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule to meet various demands of executive management in the centre.
Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate degree required (Business/Healthcare Administration or Medical degree)
Salary:
  • 60 – 80 lakh per Annum
